Bugard Skins/Tusks

Bugard Skin/Bugard Tusk/HQ Bugard Skin

Location: Misareaux Coast

Target: Bugard/Gigantobugard

Suggested Level: 50 For Bugard, 60+ for Gigantobugard

Yes there are Bugard in Lufaise Meadows but the drop rate out there is horrible, thats why you see people in Misareaux Coast. Bugard Skins sell for 500gil each at an NPC, 1k at the AH (depends on your server). The tusk and HQ Bugard skins is what your aiming for, both selling for 3k on the AH, the drop rate is incredible too. You can choose to AH sell NQ Bugard skins but id rather NPC sell them to reimburse the transaction fees of the HQ Skins and Tusks.

Can also camp Megalobugard at the same time for it's Tusk or Herc Ring.

Instead of camping Megalobugard in Lufaise Meadows though, you can camp Odqan or something while killing bugards and waiting for fog. This way you still get a decent drop rate, and a somewhat decent chance at Bravo's subligar. This still sells for a decent amount of gil and also an awesome piece of THF gear if you farm with that and don't have Homam. ^^

Also, a suggestion to farming additional things is to kill the gigas that wander around for gil drops. They drop around 100~200 gil and its a nice way of killing things in between to gain TP for killing bugards faster, get faster drops, and move on to more bugards for more efficient farming \^^/

I tried farming these today and found myself up against a LOT of competition throughout Misreaux Coast. However, i settled on camping one spot which was around G-9/H-9. NOBODY came down here to kill since it's quite removed from the rest of the Gigantobugards. Had a whole 4 of them to myself which was nice ^^

Something worth mentioning for farming the bugards in Lufaise. While farming the Gigas there you have a fairly decent shot at getting an ex item called the, "Chameleon Diamond" which is used in a Jueno quest for a decent reward and then a subsequential 500 gil or so to NPC, stackable.

I've Heard that there is gear special for farming but I don't know if its true. I haven't seen the gear but is there really gear that will help you to farm better? If so I would like to know. Replay to my post to my email, Sillyrabbit_heaven_hell@yahoo.com, Thank you, Peace.

P.S.
also let me know if there are any farmers that want to all get together on the Odin server to farm together, and help each other out with questions, may be make a linkshell if there isn't one already just for people that farm lol.

Forget these now since the DEC 12th update, bugard skins sell for 210gil, less than 50% the original price, thanks SE.

Not only did they change the price, they even tweak the drop rate.HQ skins are rare drop. I've no idea what hit their head to take such actions. Apparently they just busted gil farming and made the game more uglier

Ya so does this site even get updated now???

Be nice to see some new changes to what there is to farm now!!

I think I read something about an uptick in global CO2 levels that didn't show up in the records from previous inter-glacial cycles existing that happened around the same time that agriculture was first developed in the fertile crescent and the earliest rice farming regions in eastern Asia. If I'm remembering right that'd be a first global impact from thousands of years before the Maya, although it'd still be human land use driven.
